School Closure update 27.03.2020

Dear everyone,

A week has passed already and I hope that you are all keeping well and safe.  At least the weather has been lovely so hopefully you have all got out in the garden to play, do exercise or just have family time. I hope you have all been keeping up with Joe Wicks fitness - I have heard rumours that the children have stopped doing it, but parents are continuing.  Well done.

We have heard from some of you via email - remember we are here so please keep in touch if needed.  Mrs Attwood will forward any emails on to individual staff or to me if you send them.  If you need to phone, please do and if nobody answers, leave a message and we will get back to you.

I hope you have enjoyed doing some or all of the home learning ideas that we sent you.  You will probably have done lots of your own ideas too.  We look forward to hearing all about these when we do return to school.  Remember, it doesn't have to be like school every day.  The children need 'down time' and time to just chill.  But try and keep screen time to a minimum if at all possible!!

We are attaching next week's home learning ideas for each year group  and they will be on the website too under 'Classes' section.  If you have children in different year groups, don't worry if you can't do all the things from both year groups - just do some - try and encourage the children to do things together!

We have also added another page of useful website links.  One of these is a daily blog from Harold the Giraffe - the children will be able to tell you all about Harold!! Enjoy.

I think that's all for now - please all take care and keep safe.  We are missing you all.
