WELCOME TO THE YEAR R PAGE

We have 2 Year R classes – Poppies and Snowdrops

         In Poppies class the teachers are Mrs Lang (Mon-Wed) and Mrs Chantler (Thurs & Fri) the LSAs are Mrs Moir & Mrs Adams.

 

    In Snowdrops class the teacher is Mrs Gray and the LSAs are Mrs Morgan and Mrs Adams.

 

In Year R we aim to ensure that EVERYDAY the children have lots of fun learning and socialising with their friends.

We hope that the children in Year R will develop into independent, creative and confident children who love their learning.

In order to this we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum and focus on the Characteristics of Effective Learning (CoEL).

Year R children will be learning through play inside and outside throughout the day.  They will have opportunities to work with adults either in a group or 1-1 and lots of opportunities to practice their learning independently.
