We had a fun, colourful week celebrating the Hindu Festival of Holi.  We enjoyed some Indian dancing, wearing our own colourful clothes, tasting some Indian food and having our faces painted. We particularly enjoyed the Art work linked to this ‘Festival of Colour’ and enjoyed making our Spring trees and creating powder paint pictures on the playground.  We learnt about some of the traditions that surround this religious festival and began to learn about the Hindu deities/gods.  We also got to look at some Hindu artefacts.  Thank you to all those parents who supported us during this week, especially with the face painting which the children all really enjoyed.  Here are some photos for you to see how much fun we had!
